Becoming a partner
You've begun serving here with us at Waypoint and now you want to discover what is next? Your next step with us is becoming a partner.

By volunteering at Waypoint, you partner with us in the Gospel.
Whether it’s by caring for children, leading students, worshipping on stage, welcoming guests with a smile, or making coffee, your
investment in God’s kingdom could potentially alter the course of
someone’s spiritual journey into eternity.
As a partner, you are not only serving with us but also engaging
with us in the business affairs of Waypoint. As a voting partner, you
are invited to attend our Church Business Meetings and be part of
the decision-making at Waypoint.

Becoming a Disciple-Maker
A disciple-maker is someone who has progressed through the stages of discipleship and is now equipped and committed to helping others grow in their faith journey. A disciple-maker:
-
Lives Out the Great Commission: They embrace Jesus' command to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19), actively sharing the gospel and encouraging others to follow Christ.
-
Nurtures New Believers: They invest time and effort in new believers, guiding them through their initial steps of faith, and helping them understand and apply biblical teachings in their lives.
-
Models Christlike Behavior: They lead by example, demonstrating the values, attitudes, and behaviors of a mature Christian, inspiring others to imitate their walk with Christ.
-
Facilitates Growth: They create environments where others can grow spiritually, such as small groups or one-on-one mentoring, fostering a supportive community for spiritual development.
-
Multiplies Disciples: They train and equip others to become disciple-makers themselves, perpetuating a cycle of spiritual multiplication that extends the reach of the gospel and strengthens the Christian community.
